This altarpiece contains three figures reminiscent of the Holy Trinity, suggesting that technology has become its own religion--leaving us to worship machines instead of our traditional deities.

The Flemish "ruff" collar, so linear and formal had a previous life as part of a shower caddy supporting shampoo and soap. Who's to say which function was more dignified.

Homage to Jean-Antoine Watteau

I have always admired Watteau's painting entitled Pierrot. There's a wonderful contrast between the subject's theatrical costume and his quietly passive, dreamy expression.

One of two pieces created for a canine-themed exhibition, Gone to the Dogs: a celebration of man’s best friend, at the Denise Bibro Fine Art Gallery. Sir Oswald (Oscar, the family dog) is one of my best friends and rules our household.
We do everything for him...walk him, clean him, feed him. In return he blesses us with his enthusiasm. This machine would give him some independence on his daily walks so he wouldn't have to strain himself while moving forward and backward in the park.

In memory of the shooting in June 2016 where 49 people were killed and 53 others were wounded by a terrorist attack/hate crime inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando Florida. It was the deadliest incidence of violence against the LGBT community in US history.
